This partly polished smoky quartz and clear quartz point from Lemuria, Madagascar, is of the very highest quality. One part of the point is so clear that you can see through it, while the other part reveals a cloudy, milky landscape. What makes this point exclusive is its growth structure, through which the smoky quartz appears.
Our mineralogist's assessment
The smoky quartz looks as if Mother Nature created it and added it only millions of years later. Between the large 40 cm point and the rock on which it grew, a further flat point has formed, which only becomes visible on closer inspection.
