The Mysterious Agate and Amethyst Egg

In this crystal egg of agate you can see small, beautiful amethyst crystals pointing forward, along with various inclusions. The most exciting part only becomes visible when the egg is lit from within — only then do the hidden secrets of nature reveal themselves. Lit from different angles, the light shifts from a very warm violet to a radiant violet.

This crystal egg was worked by a sculptor with such precision, in a very demanding and special process, that it became a unique work of art. To achieve this, the sculptor not only had to be especially careful but also had to work around some of the crystals so that their natural state would be preserved.
