Description

This amethyst group has large, translucent crystals. The lilac glows out of the crystals in a wonderful colour, and at the centre the deep violet intensifies. Between the amethyst crystals rise outstanding calcite points and towers that make this group unique. These are calcites which are partly transparent and carry a young generation of calcite. This combination makes it a one-off piece and a masterpiece of nature.

Our mineralogist's assessment
The calcite points and towers have an exceptionally beautiful form, and some of them are even transparent. The young calcite generation grown upon them lets this masterpiece shine with high brilliance. The amethyst group, striking enough for its enchanting amethyst crystals alone, becomes an exclusive piece with the calcites.
  1. The calcites catch the eye immediately.
  2. It has wonderfully large, translucent crystals.
  3. It also holds special crystals, such as twin crystals.

Bashkim Asani, founder of the Mineralienzentrum, examines and describes every piece personally.

Effect and meaning

The symphony of amethyst and calcite crystals complements itself in small and large crystals alike, in colour as in luminosity. The interplay of the two crystals is meant to show that even differences can harmonise.

Origin and selection

Every piece is personally reviewed and selected by the house — by colour, form, crystal habit and above all rarity. We state an origin only where it is documented.

Every piece is reviewed by us; its colour is untreated and undyed. Where a piece has been cut, polished or mounted, we declare this openly in the technical record. Certificate wording and provenance documents are confirmed with the house before publication.

Frequently asked questions

Is this crystal genuine and natural?

Yes. We carry genuine natural crystals only. Every piece is reviewed by our mineralogist; any working such as cutting or polishing is openly declared.

Is this piece one of a kind?

Pieces marked as unique exist exactly once — you receive precisely the photographed specimen. Small series such as palm stones are labelled accordingly.

Is a certificate available?

On request we issue a confirmation from the house for any piece. Please contact us before your purchase.

Can I request more photos or a video?

Gladly. Via “Request more images” we will send you personal photos or a short video of the piece.

Can I reserve a piece?

Yes. Send a reservation request and we will hold the piece for you and get back to you personally within a short time.

How is it delivered?

Carefully packed and shipped insured — or collect your piece from us in Rheineck. Details are in the shipping section.

How do I care for my crystal?

Most pieces enjoy light, air and an occasional rinse with clear water; prolonged direct sun can alter colours. We are happy to advise on the individual piece.
