This exceptional cluster from Lemuria, Madagascar, is of the very highest quality. Its points are so clear that you can see through them; interestingly, only one of these points has a smoky quartz inclusion. What makes the specimen impressive is that all its large points face in one direction.
Our mineralogist's assessment
The massive points are supported by the smaller points and together form a beautiful formation. It therefore looks as if the points had joined forces to present their cohesion.

After an accident, Bashkim Asani could no longer continue his work as an interpreter. A friend sent him an elite shungite, and the encounter with this stone changed the way he saw the world.
